Shipping Lead Time for Floater Frames is currently 7-10 business days. That's Order Date to Ship Date (not transit time it takes to get to you...which is in addition to our lead time).
If you have tight schedule requirements please let us know prior to ordering so we can let you know if expediting is possible (which it usually is due to the number of clients that are not in a rush). We can't help you unless you communicate your needs.
The type and quantity of items in your order as well as the finishes can affect the lead time....we will usually send you an update a few days before we plan to ship just to give you a heads up.

ACMS Floating Mount Frames
Designed specifically to display our ACMS Floating Mounts in a true Floating Frame.
Displaying fabric and very thin artwork in a Floating Frame (like canvas art) was never a real option until now.
These frames now give this type of artwork the display advantages of traditional canvas artwork...with many additional options.
Variations in both Shape and Size
By Default...these frames include a "matching" ACMS Floating Mount.
This Floating Mount is the same Shape as the Frame and creates a Float Gap (distance between the artwork and the interior of the frame) of 3/8"
BUT....this is just the default.
All Floating Mount Frames are designed to accept any Floating Mount shape or size within the frame (as long as they are not larger than the frame size of course).
Different Floater Mount Sizes
There are times you may want a larger Float Gap to display your artwork.
The reasons for wanting this are endless but just know this option is available.
For example:
You can use an 11"x15" Oval Frame to display a much smaller Oval Floating Mount within the frame. The Mounting Ring now plays a much bigger role in the artwork display.
Should you want the included Floating Mount to be a size other than the default..just specify the size you want in the Special Order Instructions box.
Different Floater Mount Shapes
Now it gets even more interesting...
You might want to display a Round Floating Mount within a OVAL Floating Mount Frame...or another frame shape (or another Floating Mount shape)
You would order the frame in the Shape and size you want...and then you can specify any Floating Mount that fits inside that frame...both shape and size.
The ability to extend the visual impact of your artwork is quite extensive..and the options are truly endless.
Mounting Ring Color
The only part of the Mounting Ring you see is within the Float Gap. A typical 3/8" wide Float Gap produces a "shaded" area, giving the artwork that "floating" effect.
The default color for the Mounting Ring is BLACK (for more shadow).
Sometimes you may want the Mounting Ring to match the Frame Color, or even an entirely different color.
You may even want the Mounting Ring to be unfinished so you can paint it yourself, or apply fabric/artwork to it for a background.
Thinking about all available options is enough to make your brain hurt....we know :)
Floating Mount Recess Variations
The artwork that is being created by the Needlework Industry has evolved dramatically, and three dimensional work has become a big part of it.
Containing that artwork properly within a frame requires more depth between the face of the Floating Mount and the face of the Frame itself.
These frames offer multiple recess depths to accommodate just about any artwork thickness.
Most artwork that is not 3D will use the 3/16" Recess...though some might want their work to be more recessed.
The thicker the artwork..the more you'll want it recessed so it does not stock out past the face of the frame (unless you want it too of course).
